There are several colors of stair profiles available (depending on the model), including: white, black, beige, brown, gray, green, brick red, black-silver, red, yellow.

We offer stair profiles dedicated to carpets of various thicknesses. Stair profiles are designed so that the top part of the profile overlaps the edge of the step and is partially inserted under the carpet, which allows for a smooth surface. They are intended for steps with sharp edges.

Stair profiles for carpets

Overlay stair profiles are ideal for installation on stairs covered with PVC flooring, panels, tiles, or other finishing materials. They are designed for rounded steps.

They are not suitable for carpet flooring (for which we recommend dedicated carpet profiles).

Yes, PVC stair profiles are available in a safety version, which allows their use in places with increased occupational health and safety requirements.

We recommend the following models in this case:

• RGP-O and RD in warning yellow and red colors
• RD-ON and RD-O with embedded yellow warning element on the profile edge
• RDFL – with a fluorescent strip

Yes, the profiles are made from durable plastic, characterized by abrasion resistance and long service life, even under intensive use.

Yes. They are made of high-quality PVC, which is resistant to UV radiation. Therefore, they do not discolor under sunlight, retaining their appearance and color even after long use.

Yes, fluorescent stair profiles that glow in the dark are available, providing better visibility and safety at night or in low-light conditions.

The RDFL model is available in four colors and features an embedded photoluminescent element on the profile edge that glows in the dark (glow duration depends on the exposure time and intensity).

This is an ideal solution for communication routes, staircases, or industrial facilities where quick orientation and minimization of tripping risks are important.

Fluorescent stair profiles

Installation should be done at room temperature. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased, also ensuring removal of any unevenness. Cut the profile to the desired length. For self-adhesive versions, remove the protective film and press firmly. For profiles without adhesive tape, use PVC mounting contact adhesive.

Remember to glue only the upper part of the profile to the step, allowing the side wall to move freely.

Yes, profiles can be easily cut to the desired length using standard tools such as a plastic saw or a cutter. We also recommend QUEST angle cutters.

Yes, PVC stair profiles have anti-slip properties that significantly improve comfort and safety during use. Their surface is equipped with special grooves that minimize the risk of slipping, even in conditions of increased humidity. This way, the profiles not only protect the edges of steps from damage but also effectively prevent accidents, ensuring stability and confidence in every step.

Stair profiles are made of PVC. This material provides resistance to damage, making them perfect for high-traffic areas. PVC is also resistant to moisture, which is crucial for installation on stairs exposed to water contact or temperature changes.

Soft PVC, from which the stair profiles are made, is a flexible material that retains its original shape. This means that even if the strip becomes slightly deformed during transport or storage, it will eventually return to its proper form. This is not a defect – it's a natural feature of the material.

PVC profiles are relatively resistant to dirt, but like any surface, they may get stained with everyday use. To clean them without damaging the surface, simply use a soft cloth or mop and optionally a mild detergent dissolved in water.

Yes, stair profiles are made of PVC, so they perform excellently in rooms with increased humidity, such as bathrooms, staircases in multi-family buildings, or public facilities. They are resistant to steam and do not absorb moisture, thus not deforming or losing their properties over time. Additionally, they are easy to keep clean, making them a practical and durable solution for damp spaces.

QUEST stair profiles are especially recommended for indoor use, where they best fulfill their protective and aesthetic functions. They are perfect for both residential and commercial spaces (e.g. hospitals, schools, offices).

However, thanks to their UV resistance, they can also be used outdoors – for example, on covered terraces, vestibules, or building entrances. In such cases, we recommend using additional PVC mounting adhesive.

Our products have a non-flammability certificate issued by the ITB Fire Testing Laboratory in Warsaw.

Tests were conducted according to international ISO standards (PN-EN ISO 9239:1 and PN-EN ISO 11925-2), where our products achieved the highest fire resistance and smoke emission class (Bfl-s1 according to PN-EN 13501-1 classification).
