The special polyethylene membrane placed on the underside allows stable and secure placement of the stair mat without the need for glue, which significantly simplifies installation and removal. Important:
- Installation should be carried out on a dry, clean and smooth surface to ensure maximum adhesion.
- Before installation, the mat should rest for about 1–2 hours in the room where it will be installed. The same temperature of the substrate and the polyethylene layer will ensure the best adhesive properties.
Installation:
- Make sure the step is clean, dry and free of dust, grease and other impurities. If necessary, wipe the surface with a damp cloth, degrease and dry thoroughly.
- Starting from one end of the mat, slowly peel off the protective film from the polyethylene membrane. Be careful not to damage or soil it with your fingers.
- Evenly and gently press the mat down, starting from one end. Do this gradually to avoid air bubbles and ensure strong adhesion.
- After placing the entire mat, use your hands or a roller to press it evenly against the surface. This will help improve adhesion and remove any remaining air bubbles.
