Important:
- Installation should be carried out on a dry, clean, and smooth surface to ensure maximum adhesion.
- Before installation, the mat should be left for about 1–2 hours in the room where it will be installed. Having the same temperature for the substrate and the self-adhesive layer allows the adhesive tape to work at its best.
Installation:
- Make sure the stair tread is clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, and other impurities. If necessary, wipe the surface with a damp cloth, degrease it, and then dry thoroughly.
- Starting from one end of the mat, slowly remove the protective film from the adhesive layer. Be careful not to damage or soil the adhesive.
- Evenly and gently press the mat starting from one end. Gradually press it to the surface to avoid air bubbles and ensure strong adhesion.
- After sticking the entire mat, use your hands or a roller to press it evenly onto the substrate. This will improve adhesion and remove any possible air bubbles.
- Leave the mat for several hours to allow the adhesive to fully bond. Avoid walking on the stairs during this time to ensure durable installation.
Important information:
- Installation should be done carefully the first time, as removing and reapplying may reduce the durability of the adhesive tape. A damp surface significantly weakens adhesion.
- For the application of our products, the surface should be smooth and well-cleaned (degreased). For uneven, porous, or textured surfaces, additionally use a mounting/contact adhesive for PVC.
