Basic information:
- The installation should be performed at room temperature, not lower than 16°C.
- The trim should rest for about 1–2 hours in the room where it will be installed before mounting. The same temperature for the substrate and the trim will maximize the adhesive tape's properties. The optimal adhesive bond is achieved after 24 hours.
- Before installation, clean, degrease, and dry the adhesive surface.
Important:
- The installation must be done carefully the first time, as removing and reapplying the trim may weaken the adhesive tape’s durability. A damp wall or floor surface significantly reduces the bonding strength.
- For our products, the surface should be smooth and well-cleaned (degreased). For uneven, porous, or textured surfaces (like plaster), additional PVC contact-mounting glue should be used.
