Installation – how to install a PVC anti-slip strip?
- Installation should be carried out at room temperature, not lower than 16°C. The strip should be left for about 1–2 hours in the room where it will be installed before mounting. Having the substrate and the strip at the same temperature will allow maximum performance of the self-adhesive tape.
- Before installation, thoroughly clean, degrease, and dry the surface.
- Cut the strip to the required size.
- If necessary, cut the strip at an angle to fit the corners.
- Remove the adhesive tape and stick the strip in the desired place.
- Press the strip firmly along the entire surface.
Important information:
- Installation should be done carefully the first time, as peeling off and reapplying may reduce the durability of the adhesive tape. A damp wall or floor surface significantly reduces the bonding strength.
- For the use of our products, the surface should be smooth and well-cleaned (degreased). In the case of uneven, porous, or textured surfaces (e.g., orange peel texture), an additional contact adhesive for PVC should be used.
