How to install the strip for wall coverings?
Preparing the substrate – floor covering
- Turn up a section of the covering onto the wall – for the best effect use the QUEST mounting quarter-round, to protect the edge of the covering and create an aesthetic, rounded transition between the floor and the wall.
- The floor and wall should be clean and dry.
Installing the strip
- Place the strip over the upturned edge of the covering so that the wider part fits closely to the covering and the narrower part is directed upwards.
- Glue the strip with mounting adhesive or apply double-sided tape to ensure a stable fixing.
Installing the wall covering
- On the narrower, upper part of the strip you can attach the chosen wall covering, creating a smooth, harmonious connection with the floor covering.
- Make sure the covering fits evenly against the strip and forms a consistent surface with the turned-up floor covering.
Finishing and inspection
- Gently press the floor covering and the wall covering against the strip to ensure even fitting and stability of the whole finish.
- Check that the strip is properly fixed and that the edges of the covering remain smooth and protected.

Installation of wall finishing strip for coverings
Substrate preparation – flooring
- Turn a section of the flooring up onto the wall – for best results use the QUEST installation quarter-round to secure the flooring edge and create an aesthetic, rounded transition between floor and wall.
- The floor and wall surfaces must be clean and dry.
Strip installation
- Position the strip above the turned-up flooring edge so that the wider section adheres precisely to the flooring and the narrower section faces upward.
- Bond the strip using mounting adhesive or apply double-sided tape to ensure secure and stable fixing.
Wall covering installation
- The selected wall covering can be fixed to the narrower, upper part of the strip, creating a smooth and harmonious connection with the flooring.
- Ensure that the wall covering adheres evenly to the strip and forms a consistent surface with the turned-up flooring.
Finishing and inspection
- Gently press the flooring and wall covering against the strip to ensure even adhesion and stability of the entire finish.
- Check that the strip is properly secured and that the flooring edges remain smooth and protected.
