Installation of PVC handrail strip
- applied warm (after heating e.g. in hot water) on a flat bar 40mm wide 5-8mm thick
- the railing strip should be mounted on the previously prepared flat bar, the surface of which should be clean and smooth, without irregularities that arise during welding of flat bars,
- the profile should be heated so that it is soft and flexible, the safest way is to bathe the strip in hot water, which will heat the profile evenly
- applying the profile is done in the direction: from the top down,
- the profile must not be stretched along its length, since its excessive stretching when it cools down will still cause it to return to its original shape
- installation on curves requires stronger heating of the profile from the inside, which will facilitate its installation
- due to the shrinkage of the material from which the product is made, it is recommended to leave a longer section of about 3-5cm until completely cooled down, and then cut to the correct length
