INSTALLATION - Instructions
- assembly should take place at room temperature. In case of low temperatures, the profiles should be heated before installation using warm air or water
- clean and align the surfaces and sides of the stairs
- installation of wall profiles - P1, P2
- assembly of the cladding on the risers
- mounting the stair nosher - applies to RD, PMW
- assembly of the cladding on the riser
- mounting the stair nosher - for RDP
- assembly of external elements of the Z1, Z2 system
Notes:
- cut the profile to the exact length using a QUEST® knife or shears(view product)
- apply the assembly glue according to the adhesive manufacturer's instructions or use the QUEST® adhesive tape(view product)
- elements Z1, Z2, P1, P2 - glue on the whole surface
- stair nosings PMW, RD, RGP - glue on the entire surface of the upper nose (do not stick the vertical lip to the degree)
- press firmly to the step and allow the glue to dry
- when using the QUEST® adhesive tape, the steps can be used after 3 hours.

ASSEMBLY - QUEST® adhesive tape
Ideal for mounting profiles on stairs, versatile, double-sided reinforced adhesive tape. It is used in fast and durable bonding of floor, building and finishing profiles, linings, roofing membranes and other for concrete, wood, metal, ceramics and especially difficult surfaces such as foams, felts, EPDM, PVC, rubber or bitumen. The so-called "permanently alive" glue retains its properties for many years, extremely resistant to moisture and aging.[ view product ]

ASSEMBLY - Straight and angled cutting shears
Specialized steel shears of high quality, for precise straight cutting and for materials made of plastic, wood, rubber and others. They are used especially for cutting finishing profiles, window profiles, construction, gaskets and garden hoses. The special flat engraved stand has marked basic 45, 60, 75, 90, 105 and 120 degrees cut. For comfort and safety, the handle is covered with a pleasant to the touch material.

There are several colors of stair profiles available (depending on the model), including: white, black, beige, brown, gray, green, brick red, black-silver, red, yellow.
We offer stair profiles dedicated to carpets of various thicknesses. Stair profiles are designed so that the top part of the profile overlaps the edge of the step and is partially inserted under the carpet, which allows for a smooth surface. They are intended for steps with sharp edges.
Overlay stair profiles are ideal for installation on stairs covered with PVC flooring, panels, tiles, or other finishing materials. They are designed for rounded steps.
They are not suitable for carpet flooring (for which we recommend dedicated carpet profiles).
Yes, PVC stair profiles are available in a safety version, which allows their use in places with increased occupational health and safety requirements.

Yes. They are made of high-quality PVC, which is resistant to UV radiation. Therefore, they do not discolor under sunlight, retaining their appearance and color even after long use.
Yes, fluorescent stair profiles that glow in the dark are available, providing better visibility and safety at night or in low-light conditions.
The RDFL model is available in four colors and features an embedded photoluminescent element on the profile edge that glows in the dark (glow duration depends on the exposure time and intensity).
This is an ideal solution for communication routes, staircases, or industrial facilities where quick orientation and minimization of tripping risks are important.
Installation should be done at room temperature. The surface must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased, also ensuring removal of any unevenness. Cut the profile to the desired length. For self-adhesive versions, remove the protective film and press firmly. For profiles without adhesive tape, use PVC mounting contact adhesive.
Remember to glue only the upper part of the profile to the step, allowing the side wall to move freely.
Yes, profiles can be easily cut to the desired length using standard tools such as a plastic saw or a cutter. We also recommend QUEST angle cutters.
Yes, PVC stair profiles have anti-slip properties that significantly improve comfort and safety during use. Their surface is equipped with special grooves that minimize the risk of slipping, even in conditions of increased humidity. This way, the profiles not only protect the edges of steps from damage but also effectively prevent accidents, ensuring stability and confidence in every step.
Stair profiles are made of PVC. This material provides resistance to damage, making them perfect for high-traffic areas. PVC is also resistant to moisture, which is crucial for installation on stairs exposed to water contact or temperature changes.
PVC profiles are relatively resistant to dirt, but like any surface, they may get stained with everyday use. To clean them without damaging the surface, simply use a soft cloth or mop and optionally a mild detergent dissolved in water.
Yes, stair profiles are made of PVC, so they perform excellently in rooms with increased humidity, such as bathrooms, staircases in multi-family buildings, or public facilities. They are resistant to steam and do not absorb moisture, thus not deforming or losing their properties over time.
